Owen Sprau grew up in Northeastern Pennsylvania and graduated from St. Lawrence University in 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in Geology. After working for the Luzerne County Conservation District for a summer he moved to Salt Lake City in pursuit of new work and outdoor opportunities. Owen is an avid fisherman, mountain biker, and snowboarder who is passionate about the natural world. He started his career with Burgex as a field technician and is now a staff geologist. In the past year working with Burgex he has worked in many amazing places and has learned a great deal about the ins and outs of the mining industry. He is extremely grateful for the awesome team he works with and is excited about what the future holds!
