Burgex Clients,
I want to personally thank you for working with us over the years. And if we haven’t worked together yet, I hope we get the chance to one day!
For those who don’t know us, we’re a small (yet mighty!) team that handles all things exploration and market analysis. We’re passionate about industrial, critical, base, and precious minerals, and we’re proud to have built the only in-depth market analysis tool for construction aggregates.Let’s Talk About Our Prices
Lately, we’ve heard from some of you that our Landman services are expensive—and you know what? You’re right.
We do charge more than other providers, and I want to tell you why. Land status out here in the West can be a real headache; it’s rarely cut and dry. Our Landman team digs deep to make sure the claims we stake are actually locatable. If they aren’t, we don’t just stop—we find out why and track down the laws and documents to back it up so you know exactly what’s going on.
That extra digging takes more time, but we believe it’s worth it. We’ve seen firsthand the disasters that happen when claims are staked poorly, and we refuse to let that happen to our clients. Plus, we have the BLM on speed dial. If the MLRS database isn’t showing the right info for your claims, we’re on the phone with them. We do this because it’s the right way to do things, and frankly, because we care.Getting it Right the First Time
With exploration heating up, it’s more important than ever to get your claims staked correctly. It all starts with the land, and it’s our job to make sure your project isn’t put in jeopardy by a mistake at step one. So yes, our prices may be a bit higher, but so is our integrity.
If you ever need market studies, engineering, geology, or landman services, give us a call and let’s see if we’re a good fit.
Whether you’re a client or not, we want what’s best for our industry and truly hope your project succeeds. We get the risks, the delays, and all the roadblocks. If you ever just need support from someone who understands, we’re here for you.
Wishing you all the best in your ventures,Crystal Burgess

Global Mineral Market Summary: YTD 2025
The global mineral market in 2025 is marked by a strategic shift between traditional commodities and those crucial for the future economy. Investment and exploration are increasingly focused on minerals essential to the energy transition, the artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure boom, and national security.
Policy remains a key driver, with governments in North America and Europe using initiatives like the Inflation Reduction Act and Critical Minerals Acts to de-risk and fund domestic projects. This has created a highly favorable environment for exploration and development within stable jurisdictions. In short, the market is now more about targeted investments in assets that address critical supply chain challenges over the next decade, rather than broad speculation.
What We’re Seeing on the Ground
- Surge in Exploration: We’ve seen a notable uptick in mineral exploration across various commodities, keeping our landman department fully engaged.
- New Requests for Greenfield Exploration: We’re seeing more companies getting involved in mineral exploration across the United States for a variety of commodities.
- Unlikely Players Entering the Space: Just as we’re seeing big tech entering the rare earths and power sectors, we’re also observing major manufacturing companies securing their own mineral deposits.
What Does This Mean for the Future of Mineral Exploration?
- Mainstream Investment in Mining: Mining is becoming more mainstream in the media, as big tech companies realize the critical role mining and power play in their businesses.
- Trump Administration’s Push for Development: The FAST-41 program under the Trump administration is pushing for more mineral development in the U.S. While there are still roadblocks, progress is being made.
- Construction aggregates are projected to grow steadily at nearly 4% annually in North America. This robust growth is driven by urbanization, infrastructure development, and an increased demand for sustainable construction practices. This growth trajectory suggests a strong and expanding market for construction aggregates.
